An ADHD evaluation is useful in distinguishing between typical childhood inattention, distractibility, and hyperactivity from a clinically significant Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD) diagnosis.

AT GSBH, a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation is performed that clarifies the extent of problematic cognitive, academic, neuropsychological, and/or emotional/behavioral dysfunction that may or may not identify an ADHD diagnosis. At GSBH, we diagnose conservatively; children of a young age and/or individuals with mild symptoms require a thorough evaluation. Our comprehensive assessment approach helps to clarify the severity of symptoms and if a diagnosis is warranted. Additionally, recommendations for treatment (e.g., behavioral management, therapy, and/or medication intervention) will be discussed at the conclusion of the testing process.
