Gulfshore Behavioral Health has attempted to make the billing process as easy as possible by promising the following:
- You won’t have to ask, “how much will today be?” at each appointment.
- Unlike an appointment with your child’s pediatrician or dentist, you will not receive a bill after being seen that includes unknown charges that may vary appointment to appointment. Your fee is stable; we utilize flat rate per-hour fees that do not fluctuate based on the service being rendered (e.g., one hour of therapy costs the same as one hour of testing).
- You’ll never be shocked with a bill after services are rendered.
- You will be given an exact out-of-pocket cost before your service. Further, we will always inform you prior to providing an indirect or out-of-office service that may incur additional costs (e.g., telephone consults; school observations; supplemental reports, treatment summaries to third party sources, etc.)
- You don’t have to wait for the office to be open to speak with a receptionist to get a questions answered.
- You have 24/7 access to your patient chart and billing information via your secure and easy-to-use Patient Portal. Submit your insurance information, review your invoices, pay your bill(s), enroll in autopay, etc. all from the convenience of your own home!
Do you offer any discounts or lower costs based on income?
While we do not currently offer sliding-scale rates or discounts based on income, we do utilize a flat rate per-hour fee system so that there are never any surprise costs.
Is this going to be expensive?
The prices of our services are competitive with similar providers in the area. Fees have been determined based on your provider’s level of education, years of training/experience, degree(s) achieved, and expertise in the respected fields of specialty.
